Can you convert HDMI to audio?
Whether you need to connect to RCA or Optical (SPDIF) or even just headphones, an audio converter can help transfer that HDMI signal to a wide variety of other outputs. HDMI is the norm for a lot of devices these days, but there are times when you need something more than HDMI.
How do I get sound through HDMI?
Follow steps below to set the HDMI device as Default Device:
- Right-click on the sound volume icon in the lower right corner of Windows. A context menu will pop up.
- Click Playback devices.
- In the Playback tab, select Digital Output Device or HDMI option. Click Set Default and click OK.
Can all HDMI do audio?
Yes, all HDMI cables have the video and audio signals directly transported. You cannot have one without the other, so the HDMI cable is almost never the issue when you have just one of the two. If you’re having an issue with the sound, check the settings directly on your source.
Is there a cable that goes from HDMI to RCA?
Our HDMI to RCA cable is designed to connect and transfer (NOT CONVERT) signals from HDMI port to RCA port. This cable functions as a signal transmitter, but NOT a signal converter. As HDMI carries digital signals while RCA carries analog signals.
